The centrifuge 5418 is an 18-place microcentrifuge for 1.5/2.0 mL tubes. The 5418 can reach a maximum rcf of 16,873 x g/14,000 rpm.
Design allows safe centrifugation of hazardous materials. High speed motors generate g-force sufficient for a variety of molecular applications including DNA, RNA and protein separation and isolation.
The standard aerosol-tight lid 18 x 1.5/2.0 mL. Fixed-angle rotor has a red indicator knob for easy aerosol-tight rotor indication. Timer can be set from 1 min to 9 hr, 59 min or hold.
