Calibrated viscometers
- For measurement of viscosity of highly viscous materials such as asphalt cement at 140°F
- Meets ASTM Standard D 2171
Applicable to materials with viscosity range of 0.036 to 80,000 poise. Vacuum of 300 mm Hg is applied to small arm with timing bulbs; two bulbs are incorporated to extend viscosity range of viscometer. Calibrated with precision of ±0.5%.
Minimum sample volume: 6 mL . Requires liquid bath depth of 180 mm (7.1”). Pressure regulator and vacuum manifold for use with these viscometers are listed separately under 9726T20 and V10. For suitable baths, see 9726A20, etc. Includes certificate of calibration and instruction sheet. Individually boxed. Size and serial number are printed on outside of box. Holder is not supplied, see Thomas number 9726N15.
