EchoTherm™ hot plate stirrers are accurate, full-featured and have an easy-to-use membrane keypad. The LCD screen simultaneously displays all parameters. Unit can be set at specific temperature, heating rate, stirring speed, time and even turns off heater and stirrer at the end of a cycle. Stir up to four liters of aqueous solutions from 100 to 1500 rpm. The stirrer is accurate to 10 rpm and maintains speed regardless of changes in viscosity. Sensor, built into heater plate, maintains temperature to within 1°C. Immersion probes monitor and control the sample temperature. Rugged aluminum chasis and soft, vinyl cover protect against spills and dirt. Ceramic glass top, 8" x 8", is impervious to most chemicals and will heat to 450°C in about 2 minutes. RS232 interface available for control or recording data through a PC. Units are 800 watts, 50/60 Hz. and come with 6' three-wire grounded detachable AC line cord, fuse holder, main On/Off switch and instruction manual. Programmable models store ten routines of as many as ten steps each, with the ability to automatically repeat each routine 1 to 98 times, or indefinitely using two simple keystrokes. User can program temperature, stirring speed, time and heating rate.
