Specially designed covers can be used to separate each well via a sealing ring. This reduces cross-contamination and allows for stacking the plates. Plates and covers work well with most robotic work stations including Zymark, Tecan, Hamilton, Rasys and Beckman. Side loader collars are required for side loading Beckman BioMek systems.
