The connection between the sprayer head and the flask is made with a special screw thread ground joint, connecting cap and loosening ring. Connecting cap can be unscrewed to loosen the ground joint if it “freezes” from reagent crystallization or residue build-up. Sprayers operate on as little as 1 psi (0.07 kg/cm2) air pressure with optimal results at 3-5 psi (0.21-0.35 kg/cm2).
